Announced about three minutes ago.

Mind you, if it were Apple there would be silence and if it were Microsoft it would be a feature!

Blackberry have always been a little behind with things. It's there way of observing a moments silence for the passing of the former CEO of Apple.

What a coincidence. I swapped to a new Torch today at lunchtime and wondered why no emails were coming through... Switched back to the old handset and still nothing.. DOH!

Not good is it. I will be the first to say its a damn poor show from RIM indeed. No proper press releases, no reasons given.

How to shoot yourself in the foot. Im sure the networks are loving it though, all those extra SMS's that are out of bundle, as people dont think they need them anymore lol.

You know what Slough never had much going for it and after yesterday and today, it has even less.

I can imagine a whole bunch of arabs googling Slough and wondering why it is not located in Canada

Outage caused by Rim being tight **** *******s who would rather sell more handsets but not spend money on the server infrastructure..

Though the pikey scenario sounds better

Is that what RIM have been doing then? I have to say I have never paid much attention to that side of things.

I had a laugh to myself when hearing about this on the radio. People were acting as though it was the end of the world. Saying they ate self employed and people have not been able to contact them. Someone even went so far as to by a new smartphone!!!

If things are so bad because you can't get an email on your phone, then Christ knows how hard people will take it I'd they had to face a real problem in life!

Question is: Will you be refunded for loss of service?
