Nope,

<apologies for hijacking thread>
but there are a large group going for a long weekend from the 12th - 16th September. I think we are up over 30 cars confirmed so far, with one hotel being fully booked. We've also got lots of interest from Subaru clubs in Europe, who are also hoping to have a big presence at the event. We are also talking to a number of TV companies and magazines who are keen to cover the event as well
</apologies>

I do know a few people who go to the TT every year. They believe this year will be even bigger with last year being cancelled due to foot and mouth.

This will be my 12th TT and am really looking forward to it having missed a year. Jim Moodie on the V&M R1, bring it on!!!!!

Can't wait - only 5 weeks to go. This will be my 11th consecutive TT - even went last year when it was cancelled - not quite the same without any racing

JohnS - I've seen the IOM thread, sounds like it will be an excellent holiday. I'm not sure if I'll be able to attend yet.

I was at the IOM last weekend - plenty of Scoobs about including 22b's

Cheers,

Ian.

"McEwans" What, No Special Brew!!!

Yes it gets very busy on a night down on the prom,its always a real good laugh isnt it.Babes going past in the nude on bikes,the other year there were nude girl rollerbladers
Some of the nightclubs seem a bit seedy,BikeShed ,Pitstop bar,but there are always some stripshows going on inside

Are you camping?

You might see us with/near Neil Porter the stunt rider as he only lives down the road from us,he usually puts on a good show.

Yeah, I was there when the nude roller bladers were about.IIRC one of them kept falling on her bare ***!!!! It was a real cold windy night as well. No I'm not camping. I have a real good mate who lives in Santon (right opposite Knock Froy Moto X track) and me and my brother always stay with him. Where do you normally watch the racing from?

glen,
normally watch it at the top of Bray hill(at the petrol station) or at the bottom where there is a pub.I think we are going to get on that rail thing and watch some racing from the mountain.Its a bugger not having a bike to travel on

Whats the motocross track like as i use to race motocross
(in fact still have my Cr125 in the Garage,not used it for 2 years) Would love to start up again but having a Evo and a house ,money is tight

knock froy is a real good track, lots of natural undulations plus some really well thought out jumps, table tops and the like, I have raced there a few times in previous TT's, probably won't race this year as I have just rebuilt my only bike, a twin shock '79 HL 500 Yamaha and it really needs running in and sorting out. The TT MX there is usually on the Monday evening of race week, don't know about this year tho'. I have sold my YZ 426 due to a house move. It's a shame you've got no transport, some of the viewing spots like Rhen Cullen, Ballacrye, Quarry Bends and the Gooseneck (to name a few) are superb.

Lookout for this (note B&Q exhaust bracket!) - its a fairly standard looking CBR600 except for the tuned CBR900 Fireblade engine Its a mates bike - goes well over the mountain
