Getting photos of an iphone 4
So how do you do it
As far as I can tell itunes will only sync pictures onto the phone from the PC, not off the phone onto the PC

As said above, once the phone is connected the autoplay options will appear on your PC screen (assuming it is on).

So let me see if I've got this right
The all singing. all dancing itunes isn't actually capable of working properly in conjunction with an iphone, so it falls to Windows to get the job done properly

Regardless, your original question was answered by many. Changing the question now is only digging the hole.

Besides, I feel a torrent of abuse, and accusations of stupidity, merely for expecting a certain company's software to work fully in conjunction with their own hardware was hardly warranted

I think you will find it is the other way around, iTunes didn't need to include anything on how to retrieve photos you have taken as it is already built into the Windows operating system. Why open up itunes to do a simple task the OS handles very well on its own?

I was under the impression (according to the fanboys) that the Windows OS didn't do anything very well, is this an untruth then

But the first post wasn't the one you commented on though was it
Obviously you prefer sly innuendo & offensive insinuation, whereas I prefer the direct approach. To each his own

As for the direct approach, well, that is laughable over a keyboard. FFS.
It's so easy to be a Tufty club member via a screen.
Take it like a proper grown-up, your post was utter wánk and you've continued to defend your stupidity despite being told several times.

I'm curious, could you please explain what was so stupid about my question
I didn't know how to do something, I did what normal people do and ask someone who might know
I got several answers which helped me resolve my problem
And true to SN form, I got a complete ****** with absolutely nothing constructive to say
