on friday laptop screen got replaced as got cracked. Got it back worked fine. This morning turned it on screen is pink i rang guy who fixed it he said that it not the screen and that its something major. After about hour or so on it went back to normal this evening done same again anyone have any idea whats wrong with it ? any help be great cheers rob oh and its a compaq presario cq62

Connect to external monitor when the screen is pink. If the external monitor is also pink then its the graphics card part of the computer - normally needing a new mobo, which means the laptop is basically beyond economic repair.

If the external display is always ok then the chap who fixed it has either not done it right, or the new panel is duff.

just put it up to another external screen its fine on there. il be giving them a ring tomorrow thanks luminous
