galaxy s2 on o2 network

Quick question, does anyone know if a galaxy s2 on o2 will be sim locked and if so can this handset be unlocked easily? I have opportunity to get one cheap.

02 never tend to put locks on contract phones.

Even if they do it is relatively easy to undo if you are comfortable playing as you can reinstall the firmware brand and sim-lock free.
