Default Pro Oven Cleaning(ers)

Has anyone had an oven cleaned by a professional company ?

We have Falcon range, it needs a good scrub.

Anyone had any experience with the pro cleaners ? Recommend anyone/any company.

I am in Lancashire.

Cheers

I don't get these range ovens; They cost a fortune and most don't even have catalytic liners, where a Bosch oven at half the price does!

We ended up spending £500 uid extra to get one with catalytic liners - and thats only for teh main oven, not the second one! Worth it though....just need to clean the bottom and the door now.

Not any help I Know, but as I like do this stuff myself to keep down the household bills (not got much left after buying the sodding oven )...hence I use lots of Nilco oven cleaner foam (cracking stuff )

From my point of view an oven is used to make Baked Beans warm....

Still, ours is dirty, the original question still stands !

Thanks

Get some caustic soda and a big pair of rubber gloves. Cover it in caustic, leave it over night, wipe it off. simples. DO NOT skip the gloves

It is a nuisance when people leave things in such a dirty state, its tempting to ask the previous owners to come back and clean it for you.

I am sure there will be strong oven cleaners available that you can use. Getting a cleaner in would probably cost as much as a new oven.

Heating u[ baked beans?

Anyway, I have used an oven cleaning company.
Basically they leave it like new, didn't cost a fortune either.

You must either know of very cheap ovens, or really expensive cleaners!

When you get rid of that oven make sure the new one has a pyrolytic cleaning function. It's the future We just wipe the bits out, set ours to run, wait a few hours, and bingo clean oven with a little bit of ash to wipe up, takes a few seconds with a damp cloth. Heats the inside to something like 500 degrees C and just vaporises the grime
