Anti-semitism - Why?
I don't understand all this antisemitism, what in the past have they actually done or supposed to have done?
I always thought it was to do with **** Germany but it seems many countries have been shown to have antisematic behaviour through the years including England, Spain, Portugal, Russia....I'm sure there is more but thats just what i've gleened over via wikipedia. Seems very strange.

Thats my take.

I don't get it either but reading between the linesI think its because they are industrious and shrewd in business, they tend to do well and people get jealous, also their is a tendency to only deal with other Jews amicably, I think some none Jewish business people feel like they cant compete and get frozen out, sometimes not beyond sharp practice.
There is also the whole Israel thing but I think that is almost a separate issue as it didn't exist until 1949.
Most of my mates at school were Jewish and I worked on a Jewish Summer Camp so I am practically an honorary Jew, Ma Boy.

very true -- does that explain the British working class attitude of "comin over here, taking our jobs" to immigrants who make a success of their lives using the opportunities afforded them in this country

When the average monthly wage is £250-£350 a month in most Eastern European countries then it's pretty easy to send money back when living 3 up in a bedsit. Of course you are free to move there where unemployment rates are at 15-20% and earn £250 a month with no child/working tax benefits. Hardly a level playing field.

Virtually everyone, at some point in history, has treated the Jews badly. That many people can't be wrong
Seriously, I'm not sure why. Christians shouldn't hate them as part of their belief is that he had to die for them, so the Jews just carried out their part of the bargain!
I'm not really sure why the Germans hated them. They blamed them for the loss of WWI, but I can't see how that link can be made.
The Russians persecute everyone!
Geezer

This is an Islamist propaganda statement and you don't even realise it. I believe the appropriate pejorative term is 'useful idiot'.

A lot of it stems from a Vatican edict way back in medieval times forbidding Christians from being money lenders, leaving a massive market wide open to the Children of Abraham.
Then, after the wealthy and influential got themselves deeper and deeper into debt with the Jews, they whipped up a massive anti-semitic fervour among the population (many of whom also owed debts), had them driven out of Europe, and got an instant debt clearance
So as you can see, once again, it is all down to them dirty Catholics

PS: Why don't you direct some of your bile at the Jordanians and Syrians for once
They both attempted genocide of the Palestinians, before they realised what a great propaganda tool (and source of bomb delivery systems) a group of oppressed and homeless people could become

I always think it has been a combination of the fact that Jewish people tend to retain a distinct culture regardless of what country they are in, added to their obvious success in commerce. That's no excuse for anti semistism, but it may be a partial explanation of the prejudice some groups have against them.
I think that would go for the ***** too, but add to that to the fact that they blamed the fact that some of the WW1 Govt were Jewish on the defeat in that earlier war. Hitler went on to consider them to be "racially" inferior of course and managed to wheel out various "scientists" to "prove" this, partly by twisting Darwinist theory out of all proportion. After 12 years of **** indoctrination it seems a fair number of Germans went along with such concepts. Interesting to note that the ***** saw "Global Judiasm" as a powerful enemy, one to be feared.
Anyway, in short, "fear that that is different" may be the root of this prejudice.

Please stop using the incorrect term Israel and refer back to 'occupied Palestine' If the Israelis don't want to have rockets fired at them they should not have murdered their way to ownership of someone else's land.
