is there anyway i can check if my blackberry is locked to a specific carrier. i have a new Galaxy S2 and want to sell my BB on. i don't have any other sims to check if it will take another carrier. is there any other way to check. it's a BB bold 9700 btw.

the BB was on a vodafone contract. I updated the software/OS on the phone a while back. i think it should be ok. i could go to an O2 store and ask them to check but its pishing down here.

If you have a contract wiith vodafone go online and fill in the form for the unlocking code they give you it for free for two fones That what i did for my blackberry and iphone took 3 days to get the code

as long as the contract has been running at least 12 months the will send you the unlocking code did it for me just fill the form in online
