Default Need am M12 LEFT-Hand thread bolt.

Anyone help? been on t'internet and spoken to various places the searches turned up, but to no avail.

Anyone got one lying about? It's from an old-ish mitre saw? Nu-Tool, if that helps, company now defunct, so if you have a saw for spares or repair............

Someone with a lathe should be able to turn one up for you fairly easily.

I haven't got on at the moment, so i can't do it for you, but others on here should be able to help you.

You could post a question on www.mig-welding.co.uk as well, lots of good hobby engineers there!

The allthread, (studding) looks the best bet, not a bad price, but the nuts to make it into a bolt are £45 a bag

By the time I've done, I might as well have bought new..........

Does it screw into a tapped hole?

If not can you not use a R/H threaded bolt instead.

Alternatively, try these:

We use them all the time at work, they've never failed to find obscure stuff for me

Well, I got one, today, locally, over the counter.

Googled it again, it led me to a forum, where several replies were ones I've already seen, and were no deal.
Then I found a link to a place in Sheffield selling them for BRUSHCUTTER blades.

Looked good, so I rang a local guy who repairs mowers, brushcutters, chainsaws etc, and he had one available, although I'll have to make the head less tall to fit under the guard. And even I can do that on my little lathe. £3.60, so looks like it's a goer.

Cheers for all replies.
