Cool Some facts about the Jockanese

A recent study conducted by Glasgow University found that the average Scotsman walks about 900 miles a year.


Another study by the Scottish Medical Association found that Scotsmen drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year.



This means, on average, Scotsmen get about 41 miles to the gallon.
Kind of makes you proud to be Scottish!

that's good milage but the emissions are very bad so they may need tuning a wee bit

Thats 1.2 miles to the pub to have 1/2 a pint and then walk 1.2 miles back home again....

A similar study showed that at a similar rate of alcohol consumption Sassenachs covered precisely no miles
(cos they cannie hud their drink! ).

You're right enough, it's a well known and accepted fact amongst Celtic nations that the Saes cannot hold their booze.

Yes it is 'English' in Welsh, well it is actually Saesneg but we shorten it when using it in a derogatory way (not that there is another).
