To be fair I've given you good advice about reading material (Dr Claire Weekes) in your other thread that you started (as have others).

There is no quick fix, just some hard work on your part.

Good luck

Probably....

a) sought proper help
b) ignored Scoobynet as a viable source of accurate information

Confidence is a side effect of feeling good, which comes from eating sensibly and being healthy, I started cycling, and built up to a hundred+ miles a week.

Once I was fit I felt better about myself and developed a more positive outlook... after a few months I had the chance to go self-employed and jumped in, full of beans.

Within two months I was working 100 hours a week doing something I loved, the money was a nice bonus too !

some good advice above, and the usual p1ss takers which is to be expected.

I started karate at 7yrs old and it's the single best thing my mother did for me after giving birth, it wasn't because i lacked confidence, it was because i was unruley and had a temper and would never back down, i'm still the same now but it tought me to control myself and not feel the need to prove anything as well as giving the ability to deal with many of lifes situations.

confidence comes as said above, from feeling good about yourself and that can come from leading a healthy lifestyle, but you also need to get out there, join a gym find a local martial arts class increase your social activity and meet new people, it's difficult at first but so is life, but one thing for sure you won't get any closer to the end goal sat at home.

My boy is 4yrs old and started at the local karate class last week,so i'm going to get my a$$ kicked by a 10yr old in a few years, and i'm looking forward to it

I think most of us have some confidence issues through life etc.
With me i joined the Forces,i was bullied as a teenager.Even more when i got the girl that every other lad in the area fancied, things got so bad she moved away and never seen her again,i mean we got hounded and knocked my confidence back with girls for a while.
You need to focus on the positive, and for me it was sports.
I was very good at sports, not football but running and climbing.Find something to build yourself back up,it helped my dads brother being in SF as i would go on camps etc.
Met some great mates in the forces and learned alot about life, while guys back home that hounded me were being thrown in jail etc,for real.
stayed in contact to a few friends at home who were a success, but i have travelled lived Europe, etc etc at 32 i done quite a bit, although slowed down over recent time..

Only you can do it.

I still have confidence issues at times and thats something thats not easy to loose, but saying that, since i have had this outlook my life has changed a million times for the better.....

Only you can beat the issue, no one can help you beat it.....

At the risk of sounding a bit cruel, you are a bit of a poor me, you need to give your self a bit of a kick up the a$$ and get out there mate, stop surfing the net looking for solutions to problems that will go away with time if you pulled yourself away from the computer screen and got out a bit and meet new people and do new things, you have to take yourself out of your comfort zone.

Yes for sure the world is a big bad place, but it's no different for the rest of us, try and stop thinking of yourself as some kind of special case with special requirements and different feelings to the rest of the people in the world.

Life is a gift and for those of us that have all of our faculties in tact, as you appear to have, it is a shame to waste it contemplating all the what if's and various scenareos to the point of excluding yourself from it.

The more I see of these random one-sentence threads I see from Scoobyer Trade, the more I think he/she is a chatbot.
