Default Any toy collectors? MOTU vintage - valuation help

Hi,

If there are indeed and toy collectors or anybody else that has more knowledge than me for that matter...

The item in question is:

MOTU He Man
Slime Pit play set, made in 1985
UK printed box - not foreign crap
Box is sealed, unopened and in near perfect condition

I bought it direct from Mattel years ago and it's just been sitting around in a storage box since.

Does anyone have a clue as to its value?

I would guess around £70 in my experience they often are not worth as much as the owner thinks. I have a 1977 R2D2 airfix type kit box open but still fully wrapped bit on the plastic frames and that is only about £80 ish, but again it is all about how much someone wants it.

It does depend if someone wants it bad enough yes. They seem to make quite good money in the States, not so much over here. £70 I would say for an OK condition example - I would probably look for £100 give or take as this one is literally off-the-shelf condition.

I did have a MOC 1982 Skelator for a number of years, cost me £80. I really wanted to open it and now it's worth nothing

Wish I had some Star Wars stuff, tis my all time most loved story

Yes, even the 'newer' stuff, i was looking at some 1970's Gerry Anderson/SHADO stuff and a mint blue SHADO 2 with box is worth £250-450
