Looking for some ideas for a good holiday destination for next year (2 weeks) and no doubt some of you on here have been to some nice places

Its me and the g/f who will be going, we have previously been to:

Florida, New York (a couple of times at each), Vegas, Mexico, Tunisia, and a few short (1 week) break type holidays at places like Malta and the Canary Islands.

We quite fancy Australia, although we would probably need more than two weeks there and there is a good chance we would only be able to have 2 weeks off work at a time, although haven't asked the question yet.

We aren't 100% beach type people so we're not the type to just sit on a beach for a week or two and do bugger all, although a day here and there is more than welcome

So, can any of you come up with some ideas, interesting/different places to go?

The Cayo's in Cuba...Small Island just 4 hotels and lots of beaches...Plenty of excursions to do.

Canada all the way. Week in Toronto (have the beach on the island for your chill out moments) and then LOADS to do either local or further away like Niagra etc. Then hop and internal flight to Vancouver and hit that place. Same LOADS to do, trip up to Whistler . . . man im making myself want to go back now. . off to check the prices of flights!!!
