I loved it when ITV ran a UK version but after high viewing figures in season 1 (apparently higher than Big Brother at the time) they royally fecked it up in season 2 and the 3rd was cancelled. I even applied for Season 3

After that I watched the US version (original as UK was a spin off) created by Mark Burnett (the guy who came up with the Apprentice show) and watched many of the seasons but then lost track as its never been aired over here and CBS didnt release all series on DVD. Season 23 is about to air in the US with 24 already filming or about to.

Ive just bought the most recent seasons off a chap on ebay in an attempt to catch up. Love it as none of this namby pamby castaway stuff - 40+ days in a deserted location with some rice and you never know which of them will be the winner and scoop a cool $1m.
