Default Government rejected e-petitions.

Seems that a common kind of petition is regularly rejected, wonder why.

What would you expect from politicians anyway? It would only succeed if there was something in it for them!

So many want to bring back national service and corporal punishment. Can't say I would disagree.

Only in the UK does "Keep Formula 1 Free To Air in the UK" get thousands more signatures than "Restore Capital Punishment"

Oh and "up the speed limit to 100mph"
http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/1706

Cars can go faster and stop quicker, accidents are caused by poor driving.... why would the capabilities of the car make any difference there ********! lol talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

Cars may well go faster and have better brakes and handling etc, but the volume of traffic is enormous now and the reactions and driving abilities of the average driver have not improved either.
