Default Top Gear?

WTF?

This is a repeat. Thought this was a new series? Even the TV guide says it's not a repeat.

Each series is short as each episode costs reportedly £1 million on average

They usually only make 5 episodes per series and then play a 'best of' for the the last one.
10 episodes a year then. Not bad work if you can get it.

Its all getting a bit daft, instead of spending 1 million per episode of complete bollocks that has sod all to do with cars and only getting 6 episodes per series, with the following episodes being repeats, why dont they just lower the budget, do stuff relating to cars, and make more original episodes??

Still not figured out Hammonds eye-brow and why it becomes raised so much for no apparent reason. He needs to give it Botox.

The thing is, either way you look at it, the main article in all the programmes takes up in total half an hour of the program, as they start with it, and then return to it for the last quarter, star in a car takes up another 10 minutes, that leaves 20 mins for anything else car related, not a lot for an hour long programme about cars!!!

John, im with you about the demolition article, absoloutely sod all to do with anything relevant, although i must admit i did find parts of it entertaining!!

Top Gear is one of the BBC's best selling programs worldwide. They probably make 10x that in sales revenue.

If you're after a low budget show with stuff to do with cars, how about....

The last series of 5th Gear was pretty good. At least they test cars......

I quite like Tom Ford. Thought he and Jonny Smith did some pretty funny features together.

Then with Tiff & Plato, you have real racing drivers. So if they say a car handles well, I believe them more than Clarkson & Co.

Not quite sure why VBH is still on though. Not exactly Totty anymore.

EDITED TO SAY:
When Mr. Inappropriate was presenting, I wanted to kick my Telly in every time he appeared. His presents was almost as unwelcome as Mr. Unfunny Lovejoy's was.
