Just depend what mood I'm in. I eat more Chinese than any other take-away food.
But I love a good Curry.
Had a Burger King last week for the first time in months. God it tasted nice. Hit the spot.
Won't touch McDonalds, KFC, Pizza or any type of Kebab. Fecking awful

I'll eat most of the above but I love a good Indian if it's just me and the misses, KFC for a family meal with the kids, but has to be a bucket - at least there's a chance it's chicken if it comes off the bone, and a kebab for drinking. That said, got a Pizza Hut being delivered in 30 minutes

Half a aromatic crispy duck with pancakes and sauce, or from the Indian ruksaar lamb with keema rice and keema naan
Though I have to say where as the duck dish is my favorite, I tend to have indian more.

I'm waiting for one of the NSR millionaires club members to spout out it's all cheap processed crap and tgat they wouldn't be seen dead in such establishments
For me if it's hangover food, something greasy works so McDonalds or left over kebab/Chinese.
Can't beat a good pizza from a couple of my local takeaways either..

I come from the North-East (Hartlepool) but lived in Liverpool for the last 13 years, whenever I go back home I always order a 'parmo' as you can't seem to get them anywhere else and they're great after a few cans!!!
What is a parmo?

We have takeaway probably twice a year, and that is down from having it two times a week a few years ago. With us it got to be a habit rather than a treat and was costing a fair bit of money. The less you have it the less you want it
Subway always has a funny smell hanging about outside. If I'm away somewhere I know if there is one nearby even if I can't see it. When I want a sandwich I don't want to be interrogated by five different people over two hundred choices, I just want a bit of bread and some filling.

it maybe cheaper but you still have to cook it which defeats the object of paying someone to deliver it.
like a subway now and again, but can't beat a dirty kebab after a night out

Perhaps but COB was implying that people don't buy takeaways because they're cheap, I was pointing out that it's sometimes the opposite.
I save money by not buying takeaways simple as that.

Nooo, I want implying that at all Lydia. I was implying that the usual self righteous pretentious members (which nsr has it's fair share of) would pipe up with the 'processed' drivel. I'm certainly not bashing you for making your own food, indeed after a thread about butchers on here a bit ago I now buy my meat from them instead of Asda; and have self taught myself a couple of dishes.
My point was that there are those who think they're above eating takeaway food which is a bit sad
