Default Organising your life, laptop or phone or both?

The time has come to enter the 21st century and get rid of all the bits of paper with names, dates, birthdays reminders etc i have.

I need something that does the following,

1. List of contacts, with email, phone numbers, addresses and with a search facility
2. Birthday list and reminders, 5 day and 1 day before. Pop up preferred to alarm.
3. Calendar, with reminders for dentist, and stuff like that.
4. Maybe some sort of money manager with direct debits list (this is a maybe)

The most important bit is a search facility for contacts, and a reminder for important dates.

Is there anything i may already have (Vista and Office 2007).
Can it be done with one program, or a few.
Can it all be done on a phone, i would like a Blackberry (not sure which one).

Comments please.

Syncing a phone, will that be with the phone software on a pc, or could it be done with Outlook for example.

All of that is taken care of with my phone (iphone), I'm sure other phones like androids do this just as well.

I also use outlook calendar for my meetings and remembering dates.

I also like to keep a diary handy too as they dont ever run out of battery! (I'm biased here as I still print and bind them)

Why not just open Office or Excel and make a list of all those contacts with the relevant information? You can save it and also print the list to put in your wallet.

I use iWife, it wasn't free, in fact I had to buy it on a monthly DD. Can't remember the period, it's probably on the never never.

Anyway, it's flawless, it's never wrong, it actually tells me it's never wrong on a daily basis, but it does mean I don't have to worry about remembering anything, ever.

And on the plus side, it came with iShag free! :-)

Unfortunately I believe that breaks down after a while and you have to resort to the old manual method instead.
