Default Find-a-hotel search sites

Need to find a cheap but clean hotel in Dublin for 3 nights in October.

Anyone have a decent site to search on please? Lastminute.com type thing.

And/or if you know of a place in Dublin (nearish to The Academy) please shout.

Thanks, David

I have used this (http://www.hrs.de/web3/) website to find hotels whislt wandering aimlessly through Europe. Always better than others from a price perspective.

laterooms.com always worked well for me. customer recommendation graph on there etc. shows wether 3,4,5 star etc. if it has 4star with an "A" following they are apartments. we got a 4 star apartment before today and was excellent value

Laterooms and hotels.com I tend to use a lot. I check what's around the area then check the hotel sites direct also as laterooms sometimes charge more than the actual hotel

Laterooms is my choice but they don't have Travelodges on there, which is usually good enough for me when raving about the country.

The Academy is right in town so any of the city hotels will be ok, what is your budget?
There are also apartments to rent in the city if you'd prefer this option.

OK, thanks so much W and other guys. I'm just going on my own to see a gig where my son is playing so just need a basic clean premises, say £120 - £150 for 3 nights? My boy rents a house over there with his band but I am too old to sleep on the floor and too fond of comfort to stay in a hostel (and I am not gay as far as I know ).

I'll start with laterooms. Thanks again, David
