Im currently looking to book a Honeymoon to French Polynesia and keep coming across a Travel Company based in Hawaii that get some excellent reviews. Im already in contact with them looking at a package but my fiancee's concern is our protection if we went with a foreign Travel Agent. At least over here you get some level of cover via ATOL/ABTA.

Anyone in the field or had any experience? My head is already telling me its a bad idea esp for such a special occasion and its a decent wedge at stake for us. We'd take out travel insurance but there are so many holes in that based on past experience.
