Default Which is the worst?

a) Being too "Insensitive" when posting on SN.
b) Being too "Sensitive" when posting on SN.

"Generally Speaking":
I find people who are "Insensitive" are sometimes quite amusing.
I find people who are "Sensitive" are normally a huge pain in the ****.

Personally, I'm struggling to find the deeper meaning in that statement.

Me too. That's why I recently broke up with my Girlfriend. Everything had to have a meaning, and she over thought everything that happened in our relationship.

It was like living in an episode of Dawson's Creek.

........

I think I'm in the insensitive camp on here. Think I've upset a few people on here............ ****-em though.

Just to be boring I think you get more sensitive as you get older. Possibly as experience makes you understand what makes people tick better. Yawn.

Plus on places like SN you get to know who can take a bit of stick and who can't.

Trouble is you get less tolerant at the same time and that usally outweighs any increased sensitivity

As for here there are some great posters from both sides of the camp and then there are some ***** who in the end you just can't be ar5ed with!

Unfortunately this site is no different to the way most sites have to operate now due to the general lack of backbone in society brought on by litigation fears and possible further personal ramifications.

Gone are the days in the mainstream when you can call someone a knób, even if they clearly are, without them being protected and generally favoured by a management who has to be seen to be doing the right thing by this wet, lily livered society that has been produced. Those in charge have to be the kind that can do this and somehow believe it is right in the name of protecting their site's/organisation/business etc interest and the poor defenceless knób that is already planning compensation.

Decent grown up banter died when the country turned weak and rolled out the wet lettuce program and produced a nation of controlled dweebs too scared to speak what they felt, often the truth.

Knóbs.

Don't really mind either to be honest.
The ones that really wind me up are the keyboard warriors.
Wouldn't say boo to a goose in the real world, but stick them behind a computer and they become little 'rambo wannabes'.

Yes there is a lot of that even when it's undeserved. For instance I doubt I would ever try and sell a car on here as the for sale threads go up and within a few hours the 'experts' who are obviously hovering like vultures are posting about how the price is wrong etc. etc.

I don't find people on here are that insensitive anyway, for a bunch of blokes as a whole you are all quite empathetic and caring on the most part.
I'm not saying you are a bunch if softies, and there are the odd few who have a 'I am a miserable ******, therefore I am horrible' type of attitude.

I think a happy medium is good. I hate people who dramatise and over analyse things, but then I hate people who feel that because they feel a certain way others also feel that way, and dare allow anyone to disagree.

I prefer people to just feel the way they feel and accept that we are all different. Never harmed anyone doing that.
