Default Karcher replacement

Well it had to happen - the Karcher is dead expected it to happen 1 day though.
I bought it when QVC 1st started (1990?) so it has lasted well

I have a foam gun so need another Karcher but there are so many to choose?
Looking to spend no more than £130 (new) and it'll only be for the car/ bike/ paving so don't need a commercial

any recomendations or ones to avoid?

Cheers

Take a look on ebay. I bought an A graded return and it was new (damaged box) for £90.00. It was a K5.86 IIRC.

Thanks, i've been looking on ebay and there seem to be a lot of cheap ones but i'm unsure of the specs.
What's the difference between K1, K2, K3, etc? is the K3 a later model than K2, etc?
Is 120bar much better than a 110bar model? is 1200w better than a 1000w, etc?

Should i look for a K5 (or whatever is higher), max wattage, max bar pressure or is too powerful overkill?

Flow rate + pressure.

The higher the better.

A proper solid brass fan nozzle is ideal if it comes with one (less damging than a pencil jet and more powerful than a vario-lance which uses a reed valve to create a fan pattern ).

Not a fan of Domestic Karcher anymore ....too much plastic in their pump components. Of which spares are a small fortune to replace, even on the high-end models. Meaning when they break (and they will) they have to be chucked.

Plus rubber coated hoses fray/wear too easily, textile wrapped hoses are much more durable.
