Default Driving gloves?

Good, bad or gay?

I know some serious drivers swear by them, and would always wear them for any competitive driving, even a RWYB day at Elvington.

What do you think?

You now have to wear them for speed events but strangely not for circuit racing........until next year i believe.

I always have though and don't have a problem with them.

If you're someone who never goes near a track, and who never, ever gets slightly sweaty hands when you're driving, even on a long motorway stint in the middle of summer, you've probably got no need for gloves.

Never have wanted to wear them for driving. We had to wear very thin leather gloves for flying, in case of fire and I would not have felt right without them, because I was so used to using them.

Competition use for safety reasons

When its minus 20 outside and the car is still freezing inside.

If you're going to wear leather gloves you may as well go the whole hog and wear the leather gimp mask as well.
