I got 12 out of 20 but got bored and just took random guess' for the last few questions. The first question is wrong though, it is perfectly possible to jump off the empire state building and live.

16, but I take issue with the quiz question as the explanation seems to forget about the inital scenario of having a 33% chance of choosing the car and then swapping. Need to review it again when my head is back in shape LOL

Hence if you pick your spot and stick with it, you have a 33% chance of getting the car.
However, if you pick and then change - if you HAVEN'T chosen the car initially (66% chance of that) then you have chosen a goat - and the compere MUST then show you the only other goat, hence the remaining door MUST be the car.
So - in all probability you won't pick the car initially (66%), and thereafter by changing you MUST get the car.
So - pick and stick, 33% chance of getting the car. Picking and changing, 66% chance of getting the car.
Simples...

I think of it as the host playing part of his hand by opening a door to show the goat. He can't open the one you pick initially but it is significant he didn't open the other one. So you swap to it.

By picking a door you have a 1 in 3 chance of the car meaning that behind the other 2 dors there is a 2 in 3 chance, but then the host takes away one of those doors meaning switching will always give you a 2 in 3 of winning the car whereas sticking is only 1 in 3. Brain melt

After a lot of working out and head hurting 20 out of 20.
Most weren`t hard just trick questions, that threw you.
