Trying to sort our Honeymoon out to French Polynesia next May and Air NZ seem to be the only larger airline that quote flights from LHR to Tahiti (PPT) with a connection from LAX with Air Tahiti Nui.

Ive never known anyone fly with Air NZ so has anyone here and what did you think as a 12hr flight to LAX?

I'm sure they are ok.

No 12 hour flight is going to be fun anyway.

Been to NZ but with Emirates not Air NZ. That was nearly 24 hours in flight

Sure they're no better or worse than any of the other major airlines.

I have - They were brilliant
They have the oldest cabin crew on any airline I have flown with .
Nothing was too much trouble for them - All drinks were doubled up , to save their legs I expect .
You will know what I mean when you see the old ****ers pushing the drinks zimmer frame .
Recommend them 100%.

yep - have flown accross the Pacific with them - LAX - Honolulu - Fiji - Aukland

I've flown Emirates to Dubai/Seychelles and Qantas to HK, Oz and NZ, none of them were brilliant, bar the 777 Emirates flight from London to Dubai. Air NZ is supposed to have a really good rep....

Thats a yes from me as well, went to nz with them and did a couple of internal flights as well, no problems and good service on board.

was suprised how cheap they were too but the pound was a lot stronger back then.
