Default Apple TV vs PS3

Hey all

I have a dilemma. The wife has offered to buy me apple tv for fathers day. I currently do all my media streaming through ps3.

What would the advantages be to having apple tv.

Am i right in saying that Apple tv cant pick up any of the copyright watermark encoded into films now (DRM)?

whats your thought guys.

You can re-code the movies to stop the audio protection kicking in on the PS3.

Hi, I have ATV.

Currently running xbmc and boxee. Hoping to get hulu in the near future, but it's not currently available in the uk. But I am aware that there are ways around that.

Anyway, depending on how much you want to use either as a media centre, you just need to do your research.
I am not 100% on how much or what you can do with a ps3, but I am shocked at the 77,000 + videos are on JUST the ice films add on alone!

If you have xbmc, then google will pretty much tell you whatever you need to know.

Bonus is... We have just learned how to download the films off Ice Films.
I think I might be able to downgrade the newsgroup subscription
