Drunken walk

Good point made in comments - why on earth wasn't someone notified to go to his assistance?
If he was less drunk and was seen pi55ing in the street no doubt half the Met would be mobilised.

I can see him the next morning saying 'where did I get all these cuts & bruises from?
I must have been well pi**ed.I don't remember getting beaten up!'

I was thinking the same...it was manned CCTV as cameras were being moved to keep an eye on him. Kind up sums the uselessness that is CCTV - even when it is manned, nobody does anything. I mean a night in the cell may have saved him from getting a bloody nose and losing his wallet.
Still his own fault for getting so rat arsed. Not saying I've ever done that; I would have found a bench, doorway or bush to sleep on long before then
...or have freinds to take me home: Someone has a pic of me somewhere holding onto a lampost for dear life after I was propped up against it whilst they went to find a taxi. That was probably captured on CCTV too!
