Walking up Guildford Town Highstreet today towards MVC.

A Law Enforcment Office walks out of a shop. Hmm wonder where he's going. Looks accros road... wow nice Impreza. Where's the cop... oh geting into said nice UNMARKED Metallic Green Impreza. Lowered with phone arial top right hand of back window. Can't remember license plate but my mate might.

Possibly may have been his own car but didn't get a chance to walk over and ask him.

DON'T SPEED in Guildford.

=============================================
I'll tell you a nice cop story.

Coming home Friday night about 11pm, nice open road by Tescos Thornton Heath. So i hook a sharp right and blarp, blarp, pssssssssht for the benefit of all the pissheads at the bus stop. Get near lights and notice police cavalier pulling up close behind me (i'd been backing off for ages anyhow).They then edge out and pulls alongside at single lane lights. Nice young female office lowers her front window and says

"Take it easy son, youve got a lot of power under that bonnet"

Scowling fat bloke driver all the time is giving me the Stone Cold Steve Austin glare.

And with that the lights change and i race em....nah, just kidding about the race bit, that was it, a polite comment and weyre on our way whilst i toodle up the road at 35mph in front of them

Sunil

You had more look than me. I was pulled over by a police Impreza Turbo at the weekend in Nottingham and they dished an SP30 out in a flash.
Strangely enough they had to ask me the engine size of my car, bearing in mind they were driving exctaly the same motor. 'Don't you know?' I asked, 'No! That's why I'm asking said the nice young lady officer'. Oh right.

Will have to take things steady from now on so I suppose I its a lesson learnt. Worse thing is that I had my new radar detector in the car (BEL980) but it doesn't detect VASCAR which is ths system they were using - bummer!

Yeah, I live in Guildford, and get to chat to the local boys & girls in blue usually once a week if I'm driving after 10pm, if before they just follow me part of the way home... But I did ask them once about the 'green impreza' they have, and got 'I couldnt possibly comment' as a response.. ah well, seemed to fox the officer for a bit, obviously didnt realise it was public knowledge.. One thing I will say, is every time I've been stopped they have been very polite.

Cool

Barge, its Brigstock Road, not Bridgewater Road.

If you read blarp, blarp pssssht correctly, it means, 1st, 2nd for a bit and dump boost. Yes i was doing more than 30mph but the road was empty and no one was around (except the copper who came out the side junction)

I have heard that there is an MY00 silver Impreza turbo in Ireland and for some reason the police havnt decided to stop me lately so I havnt had the chance to put them on the spot and ask em about it.
