Euro exchange rates..

Here's what I do to get my Euro's at the best posible rate.
I have an "Escape" pre-paid Mastercard account from Phones4u. I have two cards, one in GBP the other in Euro's. It nearly always has the best exchange rate.
I check the mid market rates on XE.com every day. That gives me a good indication of the following days echange rate. Every time the rate is good (or bad), I transfer from one card to the other and back again. No matter what the amount, the fee is always 20p to transfer funds between accounts. Yesterday's exchange rate was €1.13 to the pound. Today its less at €1.1237.
The Euro card can be used just like a credit/debit card in all Euro countries. Also, there are no fee's to withdraw cash at bank machines.
If you can't be bothered doing it that way, Travelex is usually quite good. Their exchange rate at the moment is €1.1220.

Unless you're changing thousands and thousands I wouldn't really be too bothered, as the amount you're making/saving is hardly worth it.
If it's just a holiday, my personal opinion is just use ICE or Travelex.

That maybe, but I said if you're just going on holiday than on £1k you're probably only saving £10-£15 on the best available using Travelex. So you have to think whether or not it's worth your time or hassle.

PS. I use ICE due to how easy it was for me and after a bit of searching they get good reviews.

Your current account debit card or a prepaid debit?
If prepaid, I agree.
