Can anyone recommend a hotel in central Doncaster? Near the train station would be ideal

Unless I get a recommendation from the customer I am working at, I always try and get a Premier Inn. They are always pretty good and the breakfast is excellent.

True. I tend to be there only for one or two evenings though.

Well...... It's a bit old and the rooms need a refurb but I've stayed in worse (the "quality hotel" in Stoke).
The local residents must be mad keen on sport from the amount of tracksuits I've seen, Baseball in particular from the amount of caps
I stood in one road and I could see 3 Greggs outlets. How many does one road need?

Great timing Jods, telling me AFTER I've arrived
It has free wifi in the room which is more than can be said for some MUCH more expensive hotel chains.
