Default Orbital - modern rework of a classic

Not sure whether the Old Skool purists will like this but it slots in brilliantly with my Trance & Progressive stuff...

Found on Soundcloud (which Jura11 off here introduced me to)...

http://soundcloud.com/timmyandtommy/...y-remix-sample

I think it's a brilliant rework of a classic (by a pair of up & coming Irish producers) and could fit into so many sets.

Thoughts?

I do rather like Halcyon, especially the 7" version, and this remix is rather good. Downloaded and added to my iPhone.

cracking tune. Hated the original mix that I had, but that one really does work!

In the dance music circle, it is a classic and appreciated as such. It obviously isn't your genre of music. The original thread title was to discuss whether it was a good modern rework of a classic - as in the term "classic" (which the original track is) is not up for discussion.

That is all.

P.S. Dee dee dee
