you get Live Feed which is pretty good IMHO + can turn off all the ads

Pretty much all the popular and high traffic sites are though, SN is no exception and if anything being a one marque site makes is easier pickings for the less skilful trolls and attention-******

After sustained deliberation I have decided not to bother, which for a commercial site is a shame. When you think about it there should be at least a handful of reasons why someone not wishing to sell stuff would want to join up, but there appears to be none. That would lead me to suggest someone with a sales head should look at this as it smacks of opportunity to me.

Needless to say now I've made that decision I'll likely change it

Am I correct in remembering that one of the deciding factors for charging was to slow the incidences of scams?? It is supposed to make tracking people easier??
