Separately, Gillard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying she supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques.

Whoever said it, they have a right to state the requirements for settling in their country. New arrivals do not have the right to try to change a country's way of life to suit their own if it is significantly different.

If you want to emigrate to another country you have to be prepared to accept its laws, traditions, and way of life.
