Default 3 network mobile contact.....

hi guys I wanted to ask if any of you guys have a mobile with 3? I am looking to leave t-mobile and like the look of the following deal;
2000 minutes anytime any network
5000 textsall you can eat data
iphone 4
its £35 a month and £69 for the phone, the deal sounds great but my concern is there network coverage. Has anyone got 3 and whats it like?
i live in essex...
thanks

I am not in Essex, but we are all on 3 here and do not really have any problems, we do however lose a little bit of reception in some points in the house but we are not in a city or town so I am unsure where the nearest tower is.

Wifey has had one for the last 3 years. She's lived in Newark, Harrogate, Wakefield and works in Nottingham - hasn't struggled for signal anywhere.

I've been on 3 for years. Reception downstairs in my house is pants, but I have my phone set up for the wi-fi for browsing and use the house phone to make calls. Not an issue.

I have found other phone companies are very uncomplimentary towards 3 and slag them off at every opportunity. Apparently they are loss-making and don't have enough aerials of their own etc. Well, Orange were pants for me, actually worse! But now they've teamed up with T-Mobile, they may be a bit better.

the only bad thing about 3 is the call centres are in india, and it is hard work haggling with them!

Other than that though I have been with them now for 9 years, no probs with the svs at all (not in essex though

I had a phone on the 3 network when they first came out and have never had one since as they were terrible. The customer service was routed through india and it dropped signal alot as they used the O2 masts but had the lowest priority so seemed to get bumped a lot.
