Any Doctors on here?
Strange one this.
Woke up Thursday morning and the left side of my face was swollen.
Its from my left ear down to my neck. I was not in pain though? Although I knew something wasn't right as I could obviously feel the swelling and it felt uncomfortable.
Anyway today I still have it. When I eat my jaw feels stiff and I wouldn't say I have pain just an uncomfortable feeling.
I've just eaten a chicken burger and the swelling has like doubled! But no pain to speak off? Teeth are fine. I'm at a loss?
Anyone had anything similar?

Swellings that increase on eating may be a sign of a blocked salivary gland.....

Needs checking out in any case, the hospital specialty that deals with this is "oral and maxillo facial surgery"

I'm a doctor....
Sometimes the jaw can become stiff if not exercised properly, this causes swelling. The medical name is Nosuckenufitis.
Nothing to worry about at all, you just need to exercise your jaw more frequently

Off you go then.
I shall be going to the Doctor Monday if its still the same, I was just curious if anyone else had anything similar.
Just find it strange you can wake up one morning with a swollen face with no pain, its odd, I keep searching for the pain lol
