I've got two calenders made for the UK here and one says 13th, one says 3rd.
I've even seen some lads buying cards and prezzies today and I thought they might be mothers day.
My mother said to me "whats happening at the weekend" and I gave her a blank look - now I'm wondering whether she's expecting being taken out for a meal.

Very confusing this year with Srove Tuesday in March! Always associate February with pancakes
Think it gets worse....easter in the summer and Christmas on Bonfire night etc etc
(well,I know easter is 'late' this year)
Flipping heck! It is more confusing than the PSL clock forward back or sideways threads!!

Mothering Sunday is the fourth Sunday in Lent, and as Shrove Tuesday (the day preceding Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent) was last week, then it ain't gonna be this weekend.
Mother's Day in the US is in May and has nothing to do with our Mother's Day.
