When you prepare to sell on ebay you can do an advanced search on the item and see if that item sells and what sort of price they fetch - is there anyway to do this on amazon?

Yes, you need to create an account if you do not already have one.

Fine an item the same or similar and there is an icon that says "Sell Similar" or if not there is a "Sell your Stuff" icon on the right hand side when you are witin your account. i

I am pretty sure you need an account first - this doesn't cost anything to set up.

I much prefer Amazon to ebay!

well signed into my selling account on amazon,clicked on sell your stuff on right hand side and then went to do a search for item i wanted to sell, and from pop down list that appears no where does it say clothing-so altho people sell clothing on amazon how do you do it?

apparently you need to become a pre-approved seller-have emailed them to ask how i become one-whilst i await reply does anyone know answer

Does any of this enable you to see before you actually sell stuff to see if that item even sells in first place?

none of this answers my original question tho-on ebay under advanced search you can see what sold and how much for by wether the price is in green ( if it sold) or red ( which means it didn't), so before you go to hassle of selling an item you can do a bit of research and see what the same item sells for etc.
Is there anyway on amazon to do same, so far as i can find there isn't, but someone else might know how you can.
