Filofaxes, what have you done with yours?
Having a de-clutter and just found a couple of filofaxes. I never use them, they seem so 1980's. Everything is on my pc and mobile phone.
Does anyone still use them?

I used mine a lot untill I got the iPhone
Infact I had 2 over a 20 year period
At that time I could never live without it ,simple and worked well for me for buisness and pleasure
Now they will stop in the cupboard until peak oil runs out and we don't have electric any more

I would get the pair of braces you wore from the same era, nail them across your front door frame, pull the filofaxes back against the elastic and catapult the ******* into the far distance.

As daft as it sounds Les and ignoring the yuppie bit, they are really useful!
Section for names and addresses.Diary, general notes etc etc all in one spot and easy to find
My problem is I have an aversion to reading screens.Digital diaries etc.Just prefer things on paper.Same as these new book readers don't do it for me however clever they are!
Mind you,I still use an ink pen!

It was just that the job I was doing didn't need either of those, I always knew where I was supposed to be at any one time, and the events were all programmed. You made sure you were in the right place at the right time.
It was often an advantage not to have a mobile as well!

*ahem*.........So do I!
As for the ebooks.........they don't smell like a proper book, and at least a proper book won't break if you drop it.

(and we are agreed on what happens if red wine or Hendricks gets spileed on a Kindle)
Les...this will be the flight deck that didn't require a filofax i bet?
