Just seen bill .

3pound bloody 30 for a 133 second call


Does everybody pay this much , im on tesco ( o2 ) . I think its only about the 3rd time iv ever used this service .

£1.75 for the first minute then £1.75 a minute thereafter . If they ask if you want to be put through tell them to get lost. I made that mistake and a 5 minute phone call cost £10.

Outrageous !!
I didnt think anyone used these Co's since the advent of the Net, never used them myself since it became payable, some people must do otherwise we wouldn't get the multitude of adverts on TV.

I use Google on my android phone, never, ever use the 118 type numbers any more.

I do actually use google , cant remember why i didnt this particualr occasion

oops that'll be me then lol, had to use 118247 today no internet at work so no other option and what was trying to find was not a common number.Usually I would us ethe net when at home.

It didn't matter as work was paying and I have to do my job ;-)

And to think of the trouble caused when BT first started charging for Directory Enquiries at 43p....
