I know there are some obvious answers to the question!!
But what is a simple guide for these settings??
Resolution
2048 x 1536
1024 x 768
640 x 480
Compression
Superfine
Fine
Normal
Format
Jpg
Raw
Anyone got some SIMPLE (!!) options of which mix to use??

It depends on how many pictures you want to take (which depends on your available storage).
Ideally go for the maximum resolution/quality i.e.
2048 x 1536
Superfine
Raw
Then start to trade things off from the bottom of the list upwards. You can always reduce the resolution or quality afterwards, but you can'tincrease it!!!
