Seriously though, what kind of sick f*ck sends a 12 year old child to do this sort of job?

For a hot July morning the boy, who was perhaps just 13, was wearing a heavy coat – a fact which was immediately noticed by a quick thinking policemen manning the checkpoint.
The police officer ordered the teenager to stop and brought his AK47 into position and took aim. Curiously, the policeman later recalled, even though the boy must have known that he was about to die, the smile never left his face.
The 13-year-old was shot as he approached the policemen, but before he fell to the floor, his eight-year old brother, hiding a few yards away, remotely detonated the explosive-ball-bearing studded explosives hidden beneath his coat.
The attack, although horrific, was not unique in Afghanistan and is part of an insidious trend by the Taliban to use suicide bombers – some of whom are just boys while others are believed to be mentally impaired – to attack British and Afghan troops.
