Labour **** says - "Warm words from George Osborne about a 1p change on fuel duty are all well and good, but families are paying 3p a litre more at the pump because of the VAT rise he chose to bring in."
And WHY did he have to bring the 20% rate in.... of course, short memories.
Wasn't it Darling who put the extra duty on in his last Budget?

Eventually they are going to HAVE to bite the bullet, leave motorists alone and put 1p on income tax.
Every time they tax motorists, they forget that haulage companies have to pay it too, and who do they pass it on to? Us of course, and there goes your inflation again.
