So what do you miss most about Christmases in years gone by; what do you most want for this Christmas and what do you want for Christmas in the future?


I miss the excitement in building up to Christmas as a kid and somewhat with the student then office Christmas parties. Now it is work, stop and it is Christmas.

For this Christmas my kids are getting old enough to get it and I just want them to have a fantastic time - and for her indoors to wear her Santa outfit tonight

And for the future to be able to be lucky enough to have this special time in the future.

Tbho Trout i couldn't say it better mate,im just happy these's days to be able to enjoy the small amount of time at home with my family which is becoming shorter and shorter theses day's.

As a child in infant school (as it was called then) the whole Christmas period was one long exciting adventure. The joy and happiness all around was fantastic. Thinking back we didn't have much but it all meant so much.

This Christmas it would be nice to have some quality time with loved ones. Forget the crap going on around and just be able to enjoy each others company.

For the future....just to be healthy enough to enjoy each and every day.

Hate the overt commercialisation these days

Make the shops shut for the two days, lets have it as it should be.

unfortunately our desire for everything on demand does more to disillusion me

I'll back you on that Mart. I am of the opinion, we need to regress 30 years with modern comercialisation.

Just enjoy it as I always have done, especially now kids are involved.

The older we get, the less of the family are around to spend times like this with.
