Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin. It'll take a while to explain, but it's worth it. Trust.
There is a children's television programme called Lazy Town. The main protagonist is a young lady called Stephanie who together with her superhero friend Sporticus, use song and dance to try to teach the kids of Lazy Town to be more active and in the process, give their target audience a valuable lesson in leading an active lifestyle.
Things were going great till series 1, ep. 6 where this song aired.

Nothing wrong with that, I hear you say, an inoffensive song about baking. However the internet is the internet, and as such numerous parodies emerged. Including a metal remix,

and a Rave remix,

But nobody really took it seriously until one wag managed to seemlessy splice the original with a gangsta rapper called lil john. the result is a masterpiece. Note how they've managed to retain the Nick Jr. watermark on the lil john video too

Then the parody got parodied, loads exist, and this one is hilarious. If the burb is to be believed, was done on the spur of the moment. What how the girl playing Stephanie "sells" the gangsta part

These two young laydees are bang into it, but they aint the star of the show, wait for the dog to turn up!

This is probably my favourite though, she looks so sweet and wholesome doesn't she? wait till the lil' jon bit though

What next? well my friend is currently working on a breakcore remix of the the song, and plans to play it out at the raves he DJs at. I will be sure to let you know how it goes down when it emerges.

Hmmm. Maybe I am just too old, I don't get that at all. A parody of something that is not worthwhile does not result in a good end product as far as I am concerned. Still, each to their own
