Yeah, but the director/producer says that Corrie is the backdrop of British culture. He may mean Manchester culture. 
My two neighbours cried during and after their viewing of Corrie. I also tried to cry, but I guessed that it was all staged. I was certainly touched by Lian's (sp.) natural looking cry over Peter's death, though.
As a matter of fact, I find the bit with that ex-army lad manifesting PTSD symptoms of some interest. He is acting very well. I want to see what happens to him.
I'll shut up about Corrie now.

It's true there is life after Corrie, I'm sure we'll see Peter Barlow once again, most probably as an ex-RAF type, after all that's all he needs for the hat trick having been in the Army and the Navy!

I never watch Corrie, but I hardly ever watch soaps anyway. Used to watch 'enders a bit years ago when I wasn't away all the time. Eastenders tend to have more hot wiminz anyway.

I had to watch it as the other half was watching it!!! Was hopeing some one dropped a bollock as it was live
The only mistake I could see was after that ginger bird gave birth, the woman announced it in the pub, by standing up from her wheel chair!!! Hmmmmm
