What the &*%! am I doing to my arm?
Recently, I seem to have taken to lying in bed, face down, but slightly propped up on my right arm to keep my face out of the pillow.
It's a bit like placing your arm down with your forearm and hand flat, then pushing outwards, so slightly rolling the joint outwards.
But when I wake up, it's awful, painful to move and aching all the time.
So am I doing permanent damage, and what can I do to stop it? Tried sleeping on my back, but snoring and bad dreams wake me all the time.
Oh, and before any Scoobynet wits suggest I may have wnaker's cramp, stop being silly: I already have that in my wrist and I know what it feels like

Thats the first sign of being a gayer
On a serious note i also sleep very similar to how you do and i must admit for the first few weeks it ached my arm/elbow rotten but slowly became immune to it.
It is from the new position your arm is resting in and the joints/muscle's aren't used to being stretched that way,but i should'nt worry yourself over any damage to your arm or anything mate mine is fine and never aches at all now

Since i smashed my neck up i've taken to sleeping in a simular position, hurts like **** first thing but i can't sleep in any other position. So it's either no sleep or a dead arm in the morning, que sera.
