Bernie still has a sense of humour
Fair play Bernie Ecclestone, "See what people will do for a Hublot."

Credit where credit is due. But I think this is advert saying DON'T wear a tarty watch. IMO
And its still an ugly overpriced watch that only an idiot would wear. I'm going to have a moan now: When will the Swiss end its stupid fascination with gaudy oversized chunky watches. Piaget can make automatic movements that are only 2.35mm thick, which is amazing and a superb demonstation of technology. Yet most of Swiss insist on dumping a 1970's derived movements into 17+mm thick cases that serves no function other than vanity. Its getting boring now.
Moan over.

Fair play to Bernie....... who's probably made a packet out of it too (and got a watch sponsorship out of it! )
Looks like he had a bl00dy good pasting - but not being nasty when you see pics of old people who've fallen over, or bashed themselves (or been bashed about a bit), they always look the same.......

I'm with Scoobydoo as a cynic. Sorry this is as distasteful as it gets. The poinsoness little man has got a payday from it, no doubt a free watch in order to flog some more.
Now if he'd donated his time for free to promote crimestoppers or something then that would be fair play but the BBC story actually quotes Bernie saying he wanted the ad to "show how courageous I am".
What an absolute gimp.
People like this make me hope there really is a hell for them to go to where they can think about what a greedy miser they've been all their life.
What a git.

Can't be bothered to get wound up over the watch!!
I think it is frightening as well as disgusting that these theiving a'holes are prepared to beat up an old man in such a way. What kind of evil characters will do such a heinous thing?
I hope they are caught and get a very heavy sentence for such a crime.
