Default 2.25/2.5 trolley jack

My trusty trolley jack bit the dust yesterday.

So looking for a replacement in 2.25/2.5 ton .
What's the best ones out there for your money? Any to avoid?

I have a sealey 3 ton garage jack that is serving me well.

Has no problem lifting my 2.5 tonne 4x4!

There is also a good 3 ton jack in Costco that is worth a look.

Got mine from halfords, in fact I have two: one in France, one here.

I wish the one I have here had the blow moulded case the other has. Otherwise they are the same and haven't failed me yet.

Look for one with a nice big lifting point so the load is spread over a larger diameter - saves damaging the jacking points on your car.
