I thought a log cabin was a slang name for a toilet ?

IIRC there are plenty of places in N.Yorks who have log cabins. Pickering or there abouts

It's N.Yorks so probably expensive, not sure if seasonal pricing kicks in.

All I know is people who sell log cabins to punters are sharks so they are expensive to maintain hence high letting prices.

I went here last year, was fantastic and worth every penny, hot tub was brilliant, take a few DVD's though for the kids. Thats the lodge we stayed in but there are plenty others, nice and quiet and only 2 miles to Richmond for shopping.

There are loads around the Lake District.

A few of us hire one just outside Keswick, Burnside Park.

Always very clean, and you have a choce between 2 & 3 bedrooms. This October, we satyed in a 3 Bedroomed, which had master Bedroom with en-suite, and 2 further bedrooms with 2 single beds in each. So 6 people can stay comfortably.

Try looking at Cumbrian Cottages webside. Loads to choose from on there.

I'd recommend staying here! I stayed a few months ago and the service was fantastic

You maid did extras when the big guy who owned the place wasn't about
