Default dont go to buxton today

just got back from an interesting drive in the lorry.

had to reverse 4 miles at around 3 miles an hour, 4 inches of snow on the road and it was snowing very heavily!

took me an hour and a half to drive what would usually take 15 minutes!

sledge out time

yes, tried once in a farm gateway, ended up blocking the road, had to put the diff locks in and put it in 3rd and put the foot brake on, let it come round by skidding, just ended up facing the same direction, so just took my time and reversed it until I found somewhere safe.

Think I will drive over to England with my winter tyres on and show you once and for all that you don't have to close the country when the white stuff hits.

try this link, it is in German but thsi is the German arm of Delticom / mytyres.

http://www.reifendirekt.de/

This is where I got mine from, check the prices here in comparison to yours. No idea if there is much difference though as I haven#t checked.

**** me I just checked the German site and they have doubled in price aswell. Plus there is less choice. I got mine last month for 72 euros a corner plus ADAC discount.
